The International Summit of Cooperatives 2014 (October 6-8, 2014) was committed to shaping the cooperative business model for a global economy of tomorrow. The summit addressed all essential aspects of the cooperative science and practice across all industries. With more than 3,000 participants from 127 countries, it was the leading conference on cooperative business models globally.

Franco Taisch was invited to speak on the opening panel on sustainable prosperty, challenges for the global economy. He discussed with popular Nobel Laureate Prof. Robert Shiller, i.p, aspects of social economy, good society and the role of design and governance of a diversity of business models in this context.
