The NZZ am Sonntag published a leaflet on the subject of cooperatives on September 4, 2016. In an interview, Franco Taisch talked about the image of cooperatives, the benefits and the future prospects of cooperative business models.
Cooperatives provide a successful alternative as a business platform to other forms of society for more than 250 years – not only in Switzerland. Cooperative models survived the recent economic crisis virtually harmless und thus are promising even in the present. What characterizes the company form is its network structure, which takes into account a wide range of stakeholder needs.
