As Chairman of the Steering Committee of the 18th International Conference on Cooperative Studies (September 14-16, 2016), Franco Taisch outlined the correlation between company identity and growth in his opening and closing remarks.
Such growth is not simply happening, but also requires identity-based steering and governance. As board member of the Raiffeisen Group and author of the book Steering of Cooperative Groups, he then discussed the governance and management of complex organizations and of a participatory economy at one of the panel meetings with members of board of directors of other large companies.
During three days in Lucerne, more than 1000 participants out of 21 countries from science, politics and practice took part in the conference dedicated to the theme “Identity and Growth of Network and Cooperative Enterprises”.
