Franco Taisch is entrepreneur, member of various boards of directors and independent advisor, mainly in the finance, medical and technology industry.

He is today, i.a., chairman of Swiss Rock Asset Management Ltd. and president of MedicGroup. Alongside, he focuses as business advisor and as part-time university professor on business model and governance design and the entrepreneurial handling of opportunities and risks under uncertainty. Last operational responsibility as member of the executive board of one of the largest independent global wealth managers and CEO of a Swiss industry body. Formerly, i.a., member of the board of directors and member of the audit and risk committee as well as delegate innovation of one of the largest and system relevant banking groups in Switzerland as well as chairman and founding partner of a technology group being the only people owned global health data exchange platform.

  • to steer and ensure corporate governance and compliance with the legal and regulatory business environment, efficient and effective risk management (incl. legal, regulatory and technical compliance as well as legal management) under uncertainty as well as efficient and effective external and internal performance and control systems (incl. audit) on the strategic as well as on the operational level;
  • to digitize existing business models and to design digital business platforms connecting specific eco-systems and the respective entrepreneurial, legal and technological implementation;
  • to (co-)lead several operational front business lines on company level;
  • to lead people, regularly over 100 professionals with different cultural backgrounds worldwide.

Over 25 years of experience inside (as an executive) and outside (as a consultant and attorney) of domestic and foreign companies at the interface between business leadership, technology and lawt.

Over 25 years of experience as scientist, head of institutes and lecturer at the trans­disciplinary interface of science and industry for business, economics and law students at Swiss universities and as visiting professor at universities abroad, last part-time professor for economics, business and law.
